Chandara is a cross between luxurious modern setting with authentic and traditional dishes.

 

When I think of Thai food, the two most prominent dishes come to mind – Tom Yam Goong and Mango Salad. And these two were extraordinary at Chandara. Yam Pla Duke Foo is mango salad that’s topped with deep-fried catfish. For the not-so-mad-about-catfish eaters, you can switch the catfish with deep-fried prawns. The tanginess of the sauce and thinly sliced mangoes compliment the sweet, crunchy and yet succulent flakes of fish.

 

I would also recommend any Chandara’s fresh seabass dish. The Pla Krapong Sam Rod is also a must-try. It’s a deep fried whole seabass served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Other comfort Thai dishes are the duck red curry and Pad Thai.
